As 2024 comes to an end, I’m thrilled to share just a few of the lifesaving successes we’ve achieved with your help at the Kentucky Humane Society this year.
- Nearly 5,500 cats, dogs and horses found forever homes at our adoption centers (Sam Swope Pet TLC, East Campus, Willow Hope Farm, Purrfect Day Cafe) and through our foster network
- Over 13,000 were spayed/neutered at our S.N.I.P. Clinic, CARE-a-van and Sam Swope Pet TLC
- Nearly 3,000 shelter pets spent time in loving foster homes
- Over $980,000 was raised at signature fundraising events (Waggin’ Tail on the Waterfront, Tuxes & Tails and Pars for Pets)
- Nearly 6,000 community members received advice and assistance from our expert Pet Resource Services team
- Hundreds of pets in Louisville were pampered at our Fern Creek and Eastpoint Pet Resorts
