When we first introduced you to Mr. Baker the Biscuit Maker a few weeks ago, our hope was to prevent eye removal surgery by providing him with topical medications to combat his severe eye ulcer. Unfortunately after three weeks of medication and eye drops, he made little progress and the time had come to alter his treatment plan. In order to prevent Mr. Baker from suffering further, we decided to move forward with eye enucleation surgery. His surgery went very well and ever since, he’s since been living up to his name while snuggled up in the laps of staff members.
We’re especially thrilled to share that thanks to supporters like you, Mr. Baker the Biscuit Maker is almost ready to be cleared by our veterinary team and will be available for adoption early next week. Your support made his healing journey possible and we couldn’t be more grateful.
