Love local beer and adorable puppies? Join us for Hops on the Hill this Saturday, August 6 from 5-9 p.m. at Mile Wide Brewing Co.!
Hops on the Hill is celebrating its 5th birthday, and our pals at Mile Wide Brewing Co. are shaking things up a bit. Instead of one collaboration with three breweries, they are brewing three different collaborations with three different breweries! These collabs will all be released at Hops on the Hill, in addition to a number of specialty tappings. The breweries are:
Southern Grist Brewing
Nashville, TN
MadTree Brewing
Cincinnati, OH
Branch & Bone Artisan Ales
Dayton, OH
This year’s Hops on the Hill event includes a host of vendors and non-profits setting up booths to showcase their wares and distribute information on their amazing work.
DJ Clay Baker, our resident HotH DJ, will be spinning tunes until 9:00pm.
The Kentucky Humane Society will be on site with adorable puppies to cuddle and a portion of proceeds from this event will go to help KHS shelter pets!
Mac’s @ Mile Wide is gonna be slinging pies, as always. AND, we’ll be welcoming Emanuel’s Street Taco Truck to the festival. They’ll be serving up some amazing Mexican street food goodies until 9:00.
And of course, no Mile Wide festival would be complete without Louisville Silent Disco. LSD begins at 9:00pm, and runs until Midnight…or maybe later? You’ll be able to rent headphones from them for $5, and then dance the night away.
