82 Animals Adopted during Empty the Shelters Oct. 12

We are thrilled to announce that 82 Kentucky Humane Society dogs, cats, puppies and kittens found homes on Saturday, October 12, 2019, during BISSELL Pet Foundation’s Empty the Shelters event!

In total, 31 cats and 51 dogs found homes that day. It was wonderful to see so many excited families come out that day to adopt their newest furry family member! 

We are grateful to BISSELL Pet Foundation and Cathy Bissell for inviting the Kentucky Humane Society to be one of over 125 shelters across the country who participated in this national adoption event. And we couldn’t have done this event without our amazing staff and volunteers.
