Adopters Welcome!
Our adoption locations are:
- East Campus, 1000 Lyndon Lane, Louisville KY 40222. Visit adoptable animals 11am-5:30pm weekdays and 11am-4:30pm weekends. Adoption applications are processed between 11am-5pm weekdays and 11am-4pm weekends.
- Sam Swope Pet Treatment & Lifesaving Center (also called the Main Campus), 241 Steedly Drive, Louisville KY 40214. Visit adoptable animals 11am-5:30pm Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 11am-7pm Thursdays, and 11am-4:30pm Saturdays and Sundays. Starting July 6, our Main Campus will be open for KHS Happy Hour until 7 p.m. on Thursdays to give adopters more time to adopt their next furry family member. Adoption applications are processed until 30 minutes before closing.
