Subaru of America and Neil Huffman Subaru are proud to partner with the Kentucky Humane Society (KHS) during Subaru’s October “loves pets” month.

As part of the celebration, Subaru of America and Neil Huffman Subaru will donate $100 toward the adoption fee of one select adult dog each day in October at KHS, or $3,100 in total.

“We are thrilled to partner with Subaru to bring attention to a different dog each day who is seeking a loving family. Thanks to their generosity, a total of 31 dogs in October will have their adoption fees lowered by $100 – helping adult dogs get adopted faster and providing savings for families,” said Robin Vincent, KHS Shelter Operations Director.

Each day in October, KHS will select a different adult dog and lower their adoption fee by $100; the adoption fee will remain lowered until each select dog finds their forever home. Dogs will be promoted on the KHS Facebook and Twitter pages each day and on the KHS website. KHS is not allowing walk-ins during the pandemic, and scheduled appointments are required to meet adoptable pets.

Additionally, as part of Subaru Loves Pets month, Neil Huffman Subaru and Subaru of America further their lifetime commitment to loving pets by celebrating the 2nd annual National Make A Dog’s Day by inviting all dog lovers to do something extra special for their favorite canine on October 22.
